There’s the usual gardening session on Saturday, please come if you can.
A visitor and lots of weeding
Catherine Cumming from Edinburgh Living Landscape came to visit us today. We had an interesting chat about the park and about the Living Landscape project and then Catherine helped with the weeding, many thanks.
Weather felt more like March than May but we had a productive morning. Loads of borders were edged and weeded and the park is much tidier and looking good. There are even a few cherries still flowering.

Gardening Session: Saturday 23rd May, 10.00-11.30

Good luck to MyParkScotland who launch this weekend. Our gardening sessions are part of the huge range of community activities in parks across Scotland.
At last, a Warm Wednesday!
It was a glorious, warm and productive morning although we did make time for coffee. The spring colour has largely gone but clematis are starting to flower on the east wall. The ferns are doing remarkably well, I think they have all survived their first few weeks at Starbank. A special thanks to Bridget for bringing more ferns this morning. The herbaceous borders and roses are thriving, too, and promise lots of colour in the summer.

Gardening Session, Wednesday 20th May, 10.00-11.30
There’s still loads to do and the forecast is fine!! Please come along if you can.
