The décor may be awful and the rising damp is rising and very damp but the bothy has never been this tidy. Thanks to Vikki, Stan and Neil in particular. These pictures were even taken after we’d finished gardening today!

Bright sunshine yesterday afternoon and the park looked good. Have you ever seen a better looking Michaelmas Daisy in March? View is pretty special too.

There’s a gardening session on Saturday, usual time 10-11.30. The forecast is a bit iffy but what does the Met Office know? There’s lots to do so please come along if you can.
We’d a busy morning in the park, tidying weeding and drilling. It is great being amongst all the colour and it’s not just the daffodils! The primulas are amazing, the hyacinths are terrific, the tulips are coming and there’s more!

There’s a gardening session on Wednesday, usual time, 10-11.30. There’s plenty to do with the spring surge of weeds and the weather forecast is for sunny intervals, but not unseasonable warmth. Please come along if you can and enjoy the company and spring flowers.
Some morning rollers at the park.

Even after all the excitement of the Easter Egg Hunt, there will be a gardening session tomorrow, usual time. Plenty to do, including spotting the last of the Easter Eggs and a reasonable forecast.
It was a glorious spring morning, there was a fantastic turn-out, loads of great helpers, buckets of chocolate, Janet’s terrific organisation and, I nearly forgot, the scary Easter Bunny! It was a perfect recipe for a perfect day!

The park is looking great and we’ll have even more daffodils flowering for our Easter Egg Hunt on Friday!
