Bright flowers and robust Easter egg rollers, with the new park cleansing staff waiting hopefully in the wings.

We’d a good turnout, the weather stayed dry despite the black clouds lingering all round and we had a great morning.
Thanks to all the helpers who were face-painting, selling plants, sewing sunflowers, doing crafts, giving out prizes, serving teas, coffees, juice and food and making the morning a great success.

Lots to do at this time of year. The Met Office says it will be sunny and windy but there’s plenty shelter from the wind in the Park. Please come along if you can, Saturday, 10-11.30.

Busy morning gardening in beautiful Starbank Park
The wind blew but it’s sheltered in the park and we were able to enjoy a lovely sunny morning gardening in the park, and drinking coffee!
