We’ve installed a second library in the park, this time for adults. Both the children’s and adults’ libraries work the same way, borrow a book and bring one back, the same one or a replacement. All very informal!

Two fine days in a row, can’t be August. A busy morning for the volunteers and a lot done. The park flowers are looking great.

Gardening on Wednesday, usual time. The weeds love the wet weather so there’s enough to do! And the forecast is for a dry day, all day! If you can believe that this summer.

Gardening is on Saturday, usual time. Lots of weeds to weed and edges to edge! Weeds and grass do far too well in the wet. Met Office says sunny intervals for Saturday morning – wish I could believe it!

There’s gardening at Starbank on Wednesday, always plenty to do, cakes to eat and coffee to drink! And the Met Office says it’s going to be a nice morning. What could be better than gardening at Starbank Park on Wednesday?

Plenty to do and a forecast that looks almost as good as the picture, so please come along to our Saturday gardening!

Saturday gardening at Starbank Park is from 10-11.30 as usual. The forecast differs between forecasters and changes by the hour. I suspect it may be damp but you never know… Please come along to help us keep the park beautiful!

Grey morning but dry; we had a good turnout, got lots done and the park looks pretty good!

Gardening, chat, tea and coffee in the park. Lots to do and enjoy! The Met Office “promises” a damp morning but their efforts a couple of days before last Saturday showed they don’t know much!
