Cleaning out some of George and Margaret’s garden in the park today. Hard work but lots done. And the sleet didn’t come on until coffee time. This is what we moved and where it had been.
There’s gardening, as usual, on Wednesday, 10-11.30. There’s plenty to do and elevenses afterwards. The forecast isn’t very good but that is certainly not always right a couple of days ahead.
There’s plenty to do at our gardening session on Saturday morning, 10-11.30. And the weather forecast looks pretty good too: a bit warmer, bright and clear after early morning rain.
We had a decent turn-out of volunteers today on a fine winter’s morning and we tidied, mulched and re-laid a couple of paths. Hard ground prevented us from getting on with the weeding, a real shame…
Lots to do, plenty signs of spring to see (despite the cold weather) and a dry weather forecast. Please come along on Wednesday, 10-11.30, to help in the garden and warm up afterwards with elevenses in our smart bothy.
