It was a glorious spring morning, there was a fantastic turn-out, loads of great helpers, buckets of chocolate, Janet’s terrific organisation and, I nearly forgot, the scary Easter Bunny! It was a perfect recipe for a perfect day!

The park is looking great and we’ll have even more daffodils flowering for our Easter Egg Hunt on Friday!

All these prizes were in the back of a Ford Focus and they’re all for the Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday!
There’s a gardening session on Wednesday, lots to do and a half-decent weather forecast. Please come along if you can.
A great weekend and the Park was looking lovely. Even the bumble bees were out in the sunshine.

There’s a gardening session tomorrow, usual time. The Met Office says fair with a light breeze and there’s loads to do. Please come along if you can.
All donations go to our Nature TrailEverything looks better in the sun and the Starbank Park is no exception. Primulas and daffodils are looking great (and there are loads more to come). The pink hyacinths are looking great, the bergenias are the best they’ve been in the park and there’s even a Michaelmas daisy flowering! And then there are the views.

An unexpected bonus of a sunny morning led to a good turn-out and lots done. There was loads of weeding and huge progress was made with the bird boxes, you can see Sandy grafting away!

A special thanks to Stan who has extended the side border down to the gate, on his own! A huge improvement and not bad for 84½.
