Fine tulips
A fairly relaxing day at the park, weeding for an hour then coffee and cakes! Tulips are terrific!

On tenterhooks!
Stress at the park! We’d weeded and tidied and weeded again. Jen and Ritchie brought a gazebo (despite the wind!) and food. The Green Flag judges came and inspected. Fingers crossed!
Gardening sessions: Tuesday 12 May, Wednesday 13 May 10.00-11.30
It’s Green Flag inspection day on Tuesday and there’s an extra gardening session, with tea and coffee, 10.00-11.30. Our Wednesday session is on the 13 May, 10.00-11.30, as usual. Please come if you can.
Even more weeding today
Huge thanks to Jen Johnstone for many hours of weeding in the park today. The park is looking great as a result.

New herbaceous borders!
It was a damp morning but that didn’t stop us planting out four new herbaceous borders. Many thanks to Edinburgh Council for the plants and Jen Johnstone for all the organisation, planning and help.
And a ladybird braved the rain!

It’s bucketing here and this morning’s extra session was washed out. Hope it’s better for tomorrow’s Wednesday session at 10.00. Please come along if you can.

Escape from the Election, come to our Gardening Sessions on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th May, 10-11.30.
We’re having an extra gardening session on Tuesday, as well as the usual Wednesday session. We want the park to look at its best for the Green Flag inspection; please come along if you can.
