Fine tulips
New herbaceous borders!
It was a damp morning but that didn’t stop us planting out four new herbaceous borders. Many thanks to Edinburgh Council for the plants and Jen Johnstone for all the organisation, planning and help.



And a ladybird braved the rain!

Extra Time
Cold, Wet and Windy
Weather was a bit miserable this morning but we’re a hardy bunch. The Green Flag inspection is looming and the weeds are thriving but we’re getting there.


A cold and windy spring morning.
A cold and windy but dry morning, we stopped just before the rain started. Tidying was again the order of the day. At least the park is looking pretty good.


I spotted a fern, with spores, growing on the south wall.

A glorious spring morning
All of a sudden, we’ve had a glorious spring morning. Where did that come from? More tidying in the park and it’s really looking good.

Damp and Drizzly
It was a damp and drizzly morning but Gail got most of us to warm up and exercise before we started. I’m afraid I was one of the few aging male slackers who didn’t participate!
We cleared more leaves and worked out a detailed plan for screening our new compost bins.
