Dark, damp but productive
There was a heavy shower around 10, not good news. But it soon dried although it remained dark and damp. We helped Julie and her team plant the winter bedding (under Rocco’s supervision) and we cleaned out the bothies, ready for the Halloween Party on Saturday. The Autumn leaves still look fabulous.

Flowers and Fungi
A good morning at the park yesterday, it was fair, warm and breezy, perfect for gardening. We’ve planted many more daffodils, weeded and tidied and the place is looking good. There are loads of flowers still flowering and plenty fungi too.
TCV at the Park again!
Super day at the park. TCV came again to Starbank today. They dug over empty bedding borders, spread compost, weeded and did a marvellous job again! Many thanks to Tim and all his team for their help. They have made a big difference.
The park was looking good in the sunshine, with loads of colour and a few toadstools.
