Geraniums, marigolds, fuschias, cyclamen and primulas all still flowering in the park despite the cold.


There’s a gardening session on Saturday, 10-11.30. Forecast looks quite good, a little warmer and dry. Please come along if you can.

And we had time to finish our first castle/bug hotel for our Hans Christian Andersen themed children’s Nature Trail. The Castle is for the Steadfast Tin Soldier and will soon be planted with upright and steadfast flowers!
Edinburgh Council delivered 120 new Rose bushes to the park this morning (thank you Jen) and we prepared the borders then planted them all! And we still had time for coffee and cake!
