There’s gardening on Saturday morning as usual. Park’s looking pretty good, with lots to enjoy and new developments, but there is always plenty to do. Forecast isn’t too promising, but what does the Met Office know? Please come along if you can.
Amazing transformation in the weather since yesterday! Wall to wall sunshine all morning and yesterdays rain made the ground perfect for planting. Unfortunately the rain has also made for perfect conditions for the never-ending supply of weeds in the park!
Please come along. Just bring a picnic and enjoy this beautiful garden park and some old fashioned games! Participating in the “Power of Food Festival” and “The Big Lunch”.
Gardening as usual on Wednesday. Lots to do, weather forecast windy but dry and the park is sheltered. Please come along if you can.
Enjoy a Saturday morning gardening at Starbank, the Saturday morning forecast is good, the park looks great and there are lots of things to do.
Loads more summer flowers are still to come out but there are some beauties already in bloom.
A glorious sunny morning at the park and decent turn-out too. Weeding, planting and a little watering too – yes, it really is that dry here.
There are nests in three or four of the bird boxes, very pleasing. Sorry about the photo, neither the camera nor the cameraman is good enough for this type of photo but you just can see the parent and the baby almost ready to leave.
A fine forecast and plenty to get on with, so please come along to enjoy some gardening, chat , tea/coffee and the last daffodil of 2017 at the park, Wednesday, 10-11.30.
