Quite a few hardy (or should that be foolhardy?) souls were gardening in the park this morning. It was not a nice day!

Wednesday Gardening, 13 April, 10-11.30
There’s a gardening session tomorrow (13th), 10-11.30. The forecast, apart from the rain, north easterly wind and low temperature, is not good. But that’s been wrong before, there’s plenty to do and tea and coffee at the bothy.
Even more colour!
Park is looking terrific with all the spring flowers. Why not come along and get bowled over by the colour.

First cut of the year
The grass has had its first cut of the year and what an improvement, the park is looking so much better. Thanks Julie.

Saturday Gardening, 9 April, 10-11.30
There’s gardening on Saturday, usual time. The Met Office says “sunny intervals” for 10.00am but don’t expect to be too hot. There’s plenty to do, including putting bird boxes together. Please come along if you can.
First Batch of Bat Boxes
Our first batch of Kent bat boxes is just about ready for our nature trail. Many thanks to Action Earth for the grant and to Tom Stewart and the Forth Youth Theatre for the help and workshop facilities. The rest should be assembled by the end of next week.

Starbank Sun and Fife rain
It was sunny this morning but we didn’t miss the rain by much!
Colour and Volunteers in the Park
A busy morning in the park, bird and bat box construction for the Nature Trail and lots of weeding and tidying.

Tidiest Bothy Ever!
The décor may be awful and the rising damp is rising and very damp but the bothy has never been this tidy. Thanks to Vikki, Stan and Neil in particular. These pictures were even taken after we’d finished gardening today!

The Park in yesterday’s sunshine
Bright sunshine yesterday afternoon and the park looked good. Have you ever seen a better looking Michaelmas Daisy in March? View is pretty special too.
