There’s a gardening session tomorrow, Saturday (10-11.30), plenty to do (general gardening, nature trail) and lots of winter flowers to see. The weather forecast is dry. Please come along if you can.
A glorious sunny morning again in the park. The top section looks good, reflecting all our work but the grass on the slopes and near the sea is showing serious signs of wear.

A good turn out again on a cold sunny morning. Preparations are well in hand for the first story area in the children’s nature trail. This morning we cleared and replanted shrubs and bulbs before dug out the area for the mini-marsh ready for the “Ugly Duckling”.

Lots of volunteers and lots done on a cold, damp morning. We cut back bushes, trimmed, weeded and produced a load of woody prunings.

Glorious morning, a good turnout and lots of work done! The park is looking good and the primulas are really colourful. We weeded, spread leaf mould and did a lot more on the children’s nature trail which is really taking shape and is being tested.

Louise Dunne from Resourcing Scotland’s Heritage came to the park on Tuesday morning to make a short video as part of a series of videos on crowdfunding campaigns. Despite the weather, Louise interviewed three of us and we had a successful and pleasant morning. Louise describes her visit in http://www.resourcingscotlandsheritage.org/blog/2016/02/what-a-star/.
