Not a big turnout today but we still did lots of weeding and tidying plus some planting in the nature trail. There’s still lots of colour but the park is suffering from the drought.

There’s gardening in the park on Wednesday, usual time. Lots to do and a decent forecast – no east wind – and lots to do so please come along if you can.
Also, have a look at Graeme Murray’s video of the cherry blossom in the park (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw-b8RruoIg) – it’s terrific!
There’s gardening on Saturday, usual time, 10-11.30. The forecast is for even more sunshine and there’s always lots to do in May! Please come along if you can.

Wall to wall sunshine at the park this morning. The main herbaceous border is being completely replanted and we got properly started today! Special thanks to Jen and Fiona of the Council for organising the plants and the planting and for all their help today. And yes, the last photo really is one of the sky over Trinity at 10.00 this morning. Even the East wind wasn’t too bad today!

TCV did a great job at the park again, digging clearing and generally making things better. Thanks guys, we really appreciate you help, so much so that we even let them stop for a well-earned lunch!

It’s May already, the forecast is for a dry and sunny Wednesday morning and there will be lots to do, including a load of planting in the herbaceous border. Please come along if you can, 10-11.30.

Starbank Park is looking wonderful this spring!

We were all wrapped up well this morning and got stuck into the gardening to keep warm. The park is looking great!
