Busy morning at the park today. It was a bit warmer than of late and a good turnout got through a load of weeding.

Please come along on Wednesday, 10-11.30, to help keep the park looking great. There’s lots to do, elevenses to finish with and the forecast is looking pretty good.
Saturday Gardening @StarbankPark, 24 November, 10-11.30
There’s gardening on Saturday, usual time 10-11.30. There is lots to get on with and elevenses to finish with. Forecast is for the rain to clear and much less wind so, fingers crossed… Please come along if you can.
Not many flower photos from Wednesday because of the rain but look at the excellent new gate to the small garden that Graham installed .
It needed more than a bit of rain to deter the volunteers today @StarbankPark
It was never bright and sunny this morning but it stayed only a bit damp for most of the morning. Lots of volunteers cleared lots of leaves and much mulching was done before the rain the rain came down in torrents! It was even wet enough for Vikki to let us into the bothy for coffee!

Leaves, more leaves and elevenses today @StarbankPark
Warm, wet and windy but there was a good turn-out of volunteers at the park this morning. Many leaves were removed and a few plants planted (and replanted…).

Busy gardening day @StarbankPark amongst lots of late flowers
A good turn out on a grey morning and lots and lots of leaves were collected. The park is full of flowers that are unusual in Edinburgh in November.
