A cold and windy but dry morning, we stopped just before the rain started. Tidying was again the order of the day. At least the park is looking pretty good.

I spotted a fern, with spores, growing on the south wall.

Starbank Park features in the BBC website – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-31751407 – it’s image 14.
Spotted this morning in the Newhaven Heritage boat planter.

All of a sudden, we’ve had a glorious spring morning. Where did that come from? More tidying in the park and it’s really looking good.

The snow is melting fast and the forecast is unbroken sunshine. Please come if you can.

I gave a talk on the Park at Wardie Church Guild on Wednesday. Everyone was very nice and Justin set up the projector, avoiding my blushes! I therefore had a day off gardening but the Friends and Julie more than made up for my absence by getting loads done in the east border.

The park is looking good. The daffodils are shooting up and there’s plenty colour. We even had a visit from a pheasant on Friday.

If you look hard, you can see the pheasant

Weather fore cast is fair and warmer! Please come along.
