Warm, wet and windy but there was a good turn-out of volunteers at the park this morning. Many leaves were removed and a few plants planted (and replanted…).

Plenty to do and a warm and breezy forecast. Please come along for some gardening, elevenses and a lots of flowers to enjoy.

There’s gardening on Saturday, usual time, 10-11.30. The forecast is good and there’s plenty to do. Please come along if you can. For November, there is a fantastic range of beautiful flowers to see and there will elevenses to finish.

A good turn out on a grey morning and lots and lots of leaves were collected. The park is full of flowers that are unusual in Edinburgh in November.

Come along on Wednesday morning (10-11.30) and enjoy the super show of November flowers and as bit of social gardening too and even some elevenses! Forecast isn’t perfect but that’s probably wrong!

Wednesday should be dry and there’s loads to do so please come along and help keep the park looking great. It won’t be warm so wrap up well. And there’s tea and coffee to warm you up when we finish.


Busy morning at the park today. First phase of planting on the terrace has been finished and George and his team have started planting the winter bedding. Of course, there was plenty weeding and lots of leaf clearing as well. And the roses are amazing for late October!

We’ll have some proper autumn gardening on Wednesday, 10-11.30. Lots to do, a decent forecast and elevenses to finish. Please come along to enjoy the flowers and help keep the park beautiful.
