A bit cold but it was a fine January morning. We cleared lots of weeds from the herbaceous border, cleaned bird boxes and did some planting too! Not to mention having some well-deserved elevenses!
Busy morning at the park. We must surely have collected all the leaves by now! Best estimate is that we’ve collected a tonne and a half of leaves this autumn! The park is looking good, however, if a bit wintry!
Glorious day for gardening at the park. We got lots done and the park is looking great. It’s hard to believe it’s still February.
A good turnout of volunteers and a busy morning today @StarbankPark, weeding and tidying and laying more mulch.

Beautiful but freezing winter’s morning today at Starbank Park. We’d a good turn out of our own volunteers but, today, most of the work was done by TCV!
Glorious morning at the park. We mulched, we planted, we laid more of the base down for the new greenhouse and had coffee and cake to finish!
And we got lots done!
Ground was a bit hard for weeding but we managed loads of tidying in the park and in the bothies in the first gardening session of the year.
