Decent evening, plenty wine & cheese and a lovely time. The views were good too! Highlight had to be the toilet tour – we know how to enjoy ourselves! Toilet is in the process of refurbishment for events – it is now functioning and weather-tight – but the décor isn’t very good yet!

The flowers are looking good but the onset of autumn has done nothing to slow down the weeds! Lots removed today but plenty more left.

A good morning, a good turn-out and loads of weeding! A couple of interlopers too! Fortunately the interlopers (a large cat and a large frog) didn’t meet!

Busy morning in the park, weeding and tidying. Park looks good but autumn’s will soon be here!

We had a good turn out and the Friends did lots today at the park, finishing just before the rain came on! The highlight was clearly David’s giant dandelion root!

We’ve installed a second library in the park, this time for adults. Both the children’s and adults’ libraries work the same way, borrow a book and bring one back, the same one or a replacement. All very informal!

Two fine days in a row, can’t be August. A busy morning for the volunteers and a lot done. The park flowers are looking great.

Good turnout, lovely afternoon and lots done.

Stan and Friends, Sue’s wonderful birthday cake (thanks again Sue) and the chorus!
