We had easily the best Wednesday morning of the year today, wall to wall sunshine and very spring-like temperatures.  13 Friends turned up and we got loads done, hoeing, edging, digging out dead and dying roses and general tidying.  The park Is looking good and, when the paths are done, it will be in pretty good order, well on the way back to its former elegance.
